The Colorado
Springs Utilities, provides electricity, natural gas, water
and wastewater treatment within the city limits and in some
neighboring areas. Services can be started before a residence
is occupied. If meters need to be restored to service, a
fee will be charged. If meters are already in service, there
is no additional fee. Deposits are not required for the average
residential customer. Utility rates are recommended by the
department and approved or adjusted by City Council.
